Drawing a scatterplot

"SPSS is a tool that helps you visualize your data with various charts. Box plots are a commonly used chart type to show the distribution of a data set. To create a box plot in SPSS, follow these steps:

  1. Open your data set in SPSS and open the data viewer.

  2. In the data viewer, select the variable for which you want to create a box plot.

  3. Click on the "Analyze" menu, then select "Charts" and "Boxplot."

  4. The "Boxplot" window will open. Select the variable for which you want to create a box plot and click on the "OK" button.

  5. SPSS will create a box plot for the selected variable and display it in an output window. Note: Box plots in SPSS can only be used for single-variable data sets. If you are using a multi-variable data set, you can use multi-variable distribution charts to show the distribution of your data set."
